Walter Andersen Poway's Workshop!

Good afternoon, Pumpkinistas!

After a harrowing drive which included a 40-minute delay due to a traffic accident, Michelle and I arrived in Poway this morning for Walter Andersen Nursery's giant pumpkin workshop. Fortunately, we were only 20 minutes late.

The patient, inquisitive, and very exhuberant workshop attendees were rewarded with giant (and a couple of not so giant varieties) pumpkin seedlings and seeds as you can see above! Today's presentation also featured the world premier of Michelle doing her spontaneous interpretation of The Pollination Dance, replete with wings and some hand gestures.
