On behalf of Pumpkinmania! and the Cosumnes Community Services District (CSD) Department of Parks and Recreation in Elk Grove , CA we would like to invite you to The 2012 Giant Pumpkin Grower's Forum. Held Saturday, March 3, 2012, the Giant Pumpkin Growers Forum provides the opportunity to network with your fellow growers. Come learn, share tips, swap seeds and more! The meeting includes a guest speaker, catered lunch, seed swap, seed auction, seed raffle and prize raffle. See if you have what it takes to become California 's Giant Pumpkin record holder. This is the premier annual event for West Coast giant pumpkin growers and always a lot of fun!

- New California State Record Holder for his 1,704 pound pumpkin at the Half Moon Bay weigh-off
- Grower of the 2011 CSD GIANT Pumpkin Festival of Elk Grove winning pumpkin at 1,684.5 pounds
- Grower of the second place Morgan Hill pumpkin weigh-off at 1,560 pounds
