Good morning, Pumpkinistas!

Dr. Joe Sabol, Professor Emeritus, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, has been the designated giant pumpkin seed germinator for Farm Supply's workshops the last few years. I received a message from him to let me know that there will be plenty of complimentary seedlings for Farm Supply's May 11th workshop. The picture is what they look like. Dr. Sabol has germinated over 800 seedlings for giant pumpkin growers in and around San Luis Obispo this season.

I thought I germinated a lot of seedlings...

Here are the seedlings, as of this morning, May 6, 2013. If you're planning to attend the workshop at Farm Supply be prepared to do some transplanting this week-end!
