An Update from Jim in Carlsbad

Well, the year was full of adventure, record temps to 113, and 4 gophers attacking my plant and patch!!!!! We took damage, but survived. I had high hopes for the ultimate goal, a 1000-pounder, but it was not to be this year. It was consistently over 100 degrees this year in my patch.
