Seedlings Happen!

Good afternoon, Pumpkinistas!

Just a brief update this afternoon. Seedlings have been distributed to Phil Concan, Pumpkinmania judge, sponsor, and owner of Roadkyll Apparel Graphics, www.roadkyll.com, to Chris Roy, Pumpkinmania sponsor, and owner of Orange County Farm Supply, www.ocfarmsupply.com, and Gary Matsuoka, Pumpkinmania sponsor, and owner of Laguna Hills Nursery, www.lagunahillsnursery.com. These seedlings are for growing a giant pumpkin either on site or at the sponsor's homes or both.

I am hoping that they all can escape The Sponsor's Curse, and break the 500 pound barrier this season. I know they have some excellent seedlings to do it! Speaking of which, I am hoping to break the host's curse and go over 600 pounds this season.
