Good evening, Pumpkinistas!

I received this great close up photo of Howard Moore's seedling and a question asking which way the main/primary vine will grow today. First, thank you very much Howard for sending in a picture with a question! I appreciate the documentation. (It's so much better than a written verbal description/question.)

Based on this photo, the primary vine will grow, (in the opposite direction of the first true leaf) to the right. This will be the case about 80% of the time.
